You create your reality. So the first step is to simply be aware of what your reality is. Let it all out. What's going on? What are you feeling? What are you thinking? You really almost can't say too much. Don't try to solve any problems. That will come later. Just pay attention to what's going on.

In order to be experiencing what you're experiencing you must be believing many things. List all your beliefs about this experience.

In order to believe what you must believe you must be defining yourself as a certain type of person. What kind of person would believe what you believe? IMPORTANT: Do not include any physical aspects in your definitions. For example if you believe "People don't like me," you might say "I don't like myself," or "I am powerless." Usually a few fundamental beliefs will capture all your beliefs.

Take the beliefs from the previous step and write their opposites. Write any other beliefs that you want to have about yourself.

If you were the person who believed what you just wrote, how would you act? How would you think? What would you do if you were in your shoes?

You make this all official by taking action. How are you going to now act based upon what you just wrote? Avoid using future words like "will" or "would" or "try". It's always right now.
